Host Families

Host Families are an important link between the ABC scholars and our local community. Each host family is assigned to an ABC scholar for the scholar’s 4 years in Winchester. Every Sunday and one full weekend each month, the host family welcomes their scholar into their family’s life and home. They provide the ABC scholars with individual attention and support in a family setting, as well as new experiences and opportunities. These family ties not only provide a resource to the scholars while they are away from their homes, but often continue long after scholars graduate from the program.
