Unique Scholar Resource

Host Families provide an important resource for the ABC scholars and are a family link to connect with our local community. Each host family is assigned to an ABC scholar for the scholar’s 4 years in Winchester. Every Sunday and one full weekend each month, the host family welcomes their scholar into their family’s life and home. They provide the ABC students with individual attention and support, in a family setting, as well as the opportunity for new experiences and opportunities.

Special Family Bonds

The special bond between scholars and their host families, during their 4 years in Winchester, not only provides a resource to the scholars while they are away from their homes, but often continues long after scholars graduate and move on from Winchester’s program.
