Recent Alumni Profile

Winchester ABC alum Rayvoughn Millings, WHS Class of 2013, graduated from University of New Hampshire in 2017 with a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration. Afterwards, he partnered with a fellow UNH alum to co-found Shtudy, “a career matchmaking platform that screens, trains, and connects qualified software engineers of color with employers who are striving to increase diversity and revenue within their workforce.” In short, Shtudy brings diversity to the tech world by providing a talent hub where Black, Latinx, and Native American software engineers are matched with large tech talent employers like Apple, IBM, and Tesla.

As the CTO of Shtudy, Ray is the key person designing and building this platform. Shtudy was accepted in December 2019 to the Camelback Ventures Accelerator and is scaling up rapidly as they prepare for another round of fundraising. Ray is also a software engineer at Liberty Mutual in NYC.

Ray frequently returns to Winchester and contributes his time generously to the ABC Board. Winchester ABC helped him along his journey by fostering all the skills necessary for him to become such a self-starter. He’s learned how to do the inner work to embrace life’s highs and lows and push himself to do better. We love hearing that from our alums!

Congratulations on your success, Ray—we are so proud of you!
