Congratulations to Eyitayo for delivering a phenomenal speech at the School the World 15th Anniversary Gala! Tayo traveled to Honduras in July to be a “world changer”— helping a rural community in extreme poverty build a school and a playground. It was a life changing experience. Tayo thanked the Winchester Men’s Bible group for funding his trip and he urged the evening’s guests to fund more scholarships. Amazing job, Tayo! 👏🙌🏾
The WABC Career Speaker Series allows the scholars to meet and talk with professionals about what they do. The experience is educational and often inspiring.
Earlier this month, the scholars got to spend some time with Grant Hightower, Assistant Head of Student Life at Concord Academy. His work in education also draws on sociology, psychology, and community studies. He is dedicated to ensuring that the student voice is empowered, the student experience is centered, and the community is supported. It was a fantastic conversation. Thank you for visiting, Grant!
